Manfred Füllsack

Manfred Füllsack (* 1960 in Vienna ) is an Austrian social scientist and professor of systems science at the University of Graz .

Füllsack studied computer science, philosophy, sociology, mathematics and musicology at the University of Vienna . In 1994 he received his doctorate in philosophy and completed his habilitation in 2003 in social philosophy at the University of Vienna. Since February 2012 he has been Professor of Systems Science at the Institute for Systems Science, Innovation and Sustainability Research at the University of Graz.

His work deals with game and network theory, cybernetics , the simulation of complex systems, especially multi-agent simulation, artificial intelligence and the sociology and economy of work. He gained notoriety through publications and lectures on basic income .

Manfred Füllsack is a member of the scientific advisory board of Netzwerk Grundeinkommen , the German organization of the Basic Income Earth Network (BIEN) for an unconditional basic income .
