Manfred Kubowsky

Manfred Kubowsky (born July 26, 1939 in Berlin ) is a German writer and painter.

Life

Manfred Kubowsky grew up in Berlin. He worked as an author for the satirical magazine Eulenspiegel . In addition to his writing activities, he paints watercolors and pastels of landscapes in Mecklenburg and Sweden .

From 1994 until his retirement in 2004 he headed the print shop in the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Ministry of the Interior in Schwerin . He founded the publishing house edition NORDWINDPRESS and was President of the State Cultural Association of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.

Manfred Kubowsky was married to the publisher Astrid Kubowsky. He lived in Hundorf in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania from 1982 to 2007 and has lived in Weimar since 2017 .
