Manfred Lückert

Manfred Lückert (born May 1947 in Bad Sooden-Allendorf ) is an author on Thuringian and Hessian history.

Manfred Lückert spent his youth on the " Lückertshof ", a farm with a restaurant near Bad Sooden-Allendorf . After attending secondary school, he learned the trade of industrial clerk. From 1972 to 1982 Lückert was the archivist of Bad Sooden-Allendorf. In those years his great love for his closer home grew into a number of activities such as collecting old pictures and other historical documents. In addition to extensive hikes and the collection of fossils, Lückert is known to many local residents through lectures in dialect.

Lückert lived in Bad Sooden-Allendorf for fifty years and in Eschwege since 1998 . He is married and has one daughter.
