Manfredo Manfredi (architect)
Manfredo Manfredi (born April 16, 1859 in Piacenza ; † October 13, 1927 there ) was an Italian architect.
Life
From 1880 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma in Rome. In 1884 he won second place in the architectural competition for the Vittoriano . After the winner of the competition, Giuseppe Sacconi , died in 1905, Manfredi was commissioned with the completion of the monument .
Manfredi was also one of the co-founders of the Scuola Superiore di Architettura , which he directed from 1908 to 1920. He was also an elected member of Parliament from 1909 to 1919.
