Manlius

Manlius (female form: Manlia ) was the noun of the gens Manlia , a patrician family in the Roman Empire , one of the oldest in the city. At the end of the Roman Republic , the branch of the patrician Manlii became extinct. Previously, the name had passed on to plebeian representatives.

Cognomina of the Manlii are Acidinus , Capitolinus , Imperiosus , Torquatus and Vulso .
