The Manndl is a 1,889 m high secondary peak of the Waxenstein massif in the Wetterstein Mountains .

Location and boundaries

The Manndl is located in the Waxensteinkamm, about 2.2 kilometers south of the village of Grainau , and represents its northern end. At the foot of the steeply sloping rocky north face, the comparatively gently sloping forest of poles extends between this and Grainau. To the east is the Höllental with Höllentalklamm. The Waxensteinkamm extends to the southwest with a length of 3.2 kilometers.

Due to its extremely low dominance and notch height of just 14 meters, the Manndl cannot be viewed as an independent summit and is rather a secondary summit of the Waxenstein.
