The Mannheim Philharmonic focus specifically on creating an audience that is interested in and experienced in music. In speech rehearsals and family concerts, people from all age groups and social classes are brought into contact with classical music and confronted by the conductor with subjects such as musical forms, composition techniques and the art of interpretation. In the children's concerts for school classes, music lessons with an orchestra take place, adapted to the different age groups. The aim is for the children to learn to let their imagination, creativity and emotions run free.
