The list of the team squads of the 1st division (chess) 2000/01 contains all players who were used at least once in the Danish 1st division in chess 2000/01 .
The Skolernes SK was the only club to use the same 8 players in all competitions; five of the eight clubs had 11 players each in at least one competition. A total of 82 players were used, 43 of whom took part in all competitions.
The best individual result was achieved by Peter Heine Nielsen (Helsinge SK) with 6.5 points from 7 games, Martin Matthiesen (SK 1968 Århus) achieved half a point less. With Jan Pedersen (Office / 2 Nordre), Niels Kristian Kragh (Lyngby-Virum SK) and Erling Larsen (SK 1934 Nykøbing) three players achieved 100%, Pedersen was used twice, Kragh and Larsen once each.
The oldest players of the season were Henning Nielsen (SK 1934 Nykøbing) and Karl Pedersen (Office / 2 Nordre), born in 1940, and the youngest players, Davor Palo (Skolernes SK) and Christian Kyndel Pedersen (Office / 2 Nordre), born in 1985 .
