The list of the team cadres of the Swiss 1st Bundesliga in chess 2005 contains all players who were used in the Swiss Chess Bundesliga 2005 at least once.
SV Wollishofen managed with 12 players, Lugano Bianco Nero had 21 players contest at least one competition. A total of 114 players were used, 11 of whom took part in all competitions.
Players from 12 nations were used, with the majority of the foreigners coming from neighboring Germany and Italy.
The best individual result was achieved by Charles Partos (SV Birsfelden / Beider Basel) with 6 points from 7 games. With Sabino Brunello , Daniele Genocchio , Ezio Schafer, Anton Latka (all Lugano Bianco Nero), Martin Albisetti (SV Wollishofen), Hugo Kalbermatter (Nimzowitsch Zurich) and Beat Jeker (Basel BVB), seven players achieved 100% of the possible points, but played this (with the exception of Brunello, who was used three times) only one game each, while Schafer and Latka won their only game without a fight.
The oldest player of the season was Charles Partos (* 1936), who played for SV Birsfelden / Beider Basel, while ASK Winterthur used Kambez Nuri (* 1992) as the youngest player.
