Manon Houette (born July 2, 1992 in Le Mans , France ) is a French handball player .
Career
Houette initially played at HBC Pays de Sillé and CSCM Le Mans. In 2010, the outside player joined the French club CJF Fleury Loiret Handball . With Fleury, she won the French championship in 2015, the French Cup in 2014 and the French League Cup in 2015. In the summer of 2016, Houette moved to the German Bundesliga club Thuringian HC . She has been playing for the French first division team Metz Handball since the 2017/18 season . With Metz, she won the French championship in 2018 and 2019 and the French cup in 2019.
Houette won the silver medal at the U-20 World Cup in 2012 . She made her international debut for the French senior team on October 27, 2013 in Vantaa against Finland . She took part in the 2015 World Cup with France . She won the silver medal at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro . She won the bronze medal at the 2016 European Championships . A year later she won the World Cup in Germany . At the European Championships in 2018 , she won the gold medal in her own country.
