Manon Kahle (born August 10, 1980 in Putney , Vermont ) is an American actress and illustrator living in Germany .

life and career

Manon Kahle was born in the New England state of Vermont . She studied acting and French in Massachusetts , New York and Paris . She received her Bachelor of Arts in Theater from Smith College in Massachusetts in 2002 . She then took private acting, dance and singing lessons. Kahle can be seen almost exclusively in German-language television productions.

Manon Kahle is a member of the country and folklore band Yellow Bird .

She also works as an illustrator . Together with Klaus Herlitz as the author, Manon Kahle designed the children's book The Buddy Bears and the Snow-White Elephant .

Manon Kahle has had her main residence in Berlin since 2003 .
