Manuchehr Taslimi

Manuchehr Taslimi (born July 23, 1923 in Qazvin ; Persian منوچهر تسلیمی) is an Iranian civil servant .

Taslimi was related to Abdul Hussein Taslimi . He graduated in 1946 with a degree in engineering at the University of Tehran from. In 1952 he completed a master's degree in history and philosophy of science at the University of London , where he received his doctorate in the same subject in 1954 . He began his civil servant career as assistant director for education in the context of the Point IV program in Rasht and then worked as a lecturer and in academic administration. He was State Secretary for Vocational Training at the Ministry of Education, Advisor to the Ministry of Economic Affairs, State Secretary at the Ministry of Information before he was Chancellor of the University of Tabriz from 1968 to 1972 . In 1972 he became director of the Industrial Development & Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO).
