Manuel Belo

Manuel Belo Amaral Ataide (born March 9, 2001 in Dili , East Timor ) is a middle distance runner from East Timor.

The 1.60 m tall athlete achieved his best result in the Asian qualification for the Youth Summer Games 2018. Over 1500 meters, Belo came third in a time of 4: 12.56 minutes. At the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta , he competed over 800 and 1500 meters.

On October 12, 2018, Belo came 7th at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires on the 1500 meter distance with 4: 13.41 min. In the cross-country run , he did not start as planned.
