Manuel Hegen (born November 23, 1992 in Ulm ) is a German football player .

Career

society

In his youth, Hegen first played for FC Illerkirchberg and TSV Neu-Ulm . In 2006 he moved from SSV Ulm in 1846 to the youth team at VfB Stuttgart . With the Stuttgart B-Juniors, Hegen became German U-17 champions in the 2008/09 season .

As a youth player, Hegen made his professional debut on February 26, 2011 on the 26th match day of the 2010/11 season for the second team of VfB Stuttgart in the 3rd professional league against Werder Bremen II .

On April 13, 2011, Hegen tore a cruciate ligament during a game in the WFV A-Juniors Cup against SV Böblingen .

At the end of the 2011/12 season, Manuel Hegen left VfB Stuttgart and completed a trial training session with the Dutch second division club SC Veendam in July 2012 . He was not obliged. On January 31, 2013, Manuel Hegen signed a contract with SG Sonnenhof Großaspach , dated until the end of June 2015. In 2014 he returned to SSV Ulm 1846 .

National team

Among other things, Hegen played for the German U-16 national team and came third in an international tournament in France in March 2008.
