Manuel María Orellana Contreras (born December 17, 1870 in Jícaro , El Progreso Department , † June 1940 ) was President of Guatemala from December 17 to 31, 1930 .

Manuel María Orellana Contreras was in 1930 commandant of the Fuerte de San Rafael de Matamoros , in which he had absolute control over selected soldiers from the militia of El Progreso .

Members of the Liberal Progresista Party and members of the Liberal Party of Chacón had each other arrested.

On December 31, 1930 the parliament, the deputy José María Reina Andrade as 1st deputy for President Chacón.
