The Marae is an East Timorese river in the Maubara administrative district ( Liquiçá municipality ). Like most of the smaller rivers in North Timor , the Marae falls dry outside of the rainy season.

The rivers Mantaro and Tikidur have their source in the extreme northeast of the Sucos Gugleur . They unite to form the marae, which shortly after flows into the Sawu Sea along the border with Suco Vaviquinia .
