Marat Nailewitsch Ismailow ( Russian Марат Наи́левич Измайлов ; English transcription Marat Izmailov ; born September 21, 1982 in Moscow ) is a Russian football player of Tatar descent. The midfielder has been under contract with FK Krasnodar since July 2016 and is part of the Russian national team .

Career

At the beginning of his career as a professional footballer, he played for Lokomotiv Moscow in the 2001 season , then in 2007 he moved to the Portuguese first division club Sporting Lisbon . In January 2013 he moved to league rivals FC Porto and signed a contract until the end of June 2015. In return, the Portuguese international Miguel Lopes moved to Sporting Lisbon.
