Marc Bürkle (born May 22, 1977 ) is a former German handball player . His height is 1.83 m. He held the position as goalkeeper .

Bürkle rose with the TV Bittenfeld from the league to the regional league . In the 2005/06 season Bürkle belonged to the regional league team of the TVB, which rose to the 2nd Bundesliga at the end of the season . However, he ended his active career in the Christmas break of the season after five and a half years in the goal of the TVB. Even after that, however, he was still used by the TVB in the 2. Bundesliga, so in the 2008/09 season against 1. SV Concordia Delitzsch .

In 2006 Bürkle was awarded the sports merit plaque of the city of Waiblingen for special services to sport .

In March 2009, Bürkle and Günther Schäfer took over the management of the TVB Business Partner Promotion Group .

Bürkle holds a degree in business administration from the Stuttgart University of Cooperative Education . He has been managing director and partner of an internet agency in Stuttgart since 2007 .

Jens Bürkle , Marc's brother, is also a former handball player and current trainer.
