Marc Jeannerod

Marc Jeannerod (born December 15, 1935 in Lyon ; † July 1, 2011 ibid) was a French neurologist and neurophysiologist .

Life

Jeannerod was Professor of Physiology at the University of Lyon I and from 1997 to 2005 headed the Institute des Sciences Cognitives of the CNRS in Lyon, which he founded.

In 1996 he became a corresponding member and in 2002 a full member of the Académie des sciences . In 2005 he received the Jean Louis Signoret Prize .
