University of Lyon I
The University of Lyon I (University of Claude Bernard , UCBL) is the successor to the Natural Science Faculty of Lyon founded in 1833 and the Medical Faculty founded in 1874.
The main campus is La Doua in Villeurbanne . Further university buildings can be found in the Rockefeller district , in the Lyon-Süd hospital and in the Gerland district .
