The University of Pierre Mendès-France Grenoble II (UPMF) , ( French Université Pierre Mendès-France de Grenoble II ) is a university in Grenoble ( France ). It is one of three universities founded in Grenoble in 1970 to replace the old university founded in 1339. In Grenoble, the Pierre Mendès-France University offers courses in law, economics and social sciences. Attached to the university is the Institut d'Études Politiques of Grenoble. The university also has a technical branch in Valence .

The university is named after the former French Prime Minister Pierre Mendès France (1907–1982).

In 2016, the Pierre Mendès-France Grenoble II was merged with the two other universities again to form the Université Grenoble Alpes.
