The Paul Sabatier University (French: Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III , abbreviated UPS) is the third university in Toulouse, France . It was founded in 1969 and named after the chemist and Nobel Prize winner Paul Sabatier .

It gives courses in natural, engineering and sports sciences as well as health professions. The city's two medical faculties and the Faculty of Pharmacy are affiliated as independent institutions .

The campus is located in the Rangueil district, in the south of the city.
