Marc Leclerc

Marc Leclerc (born January 9, 1933 in Saint-Grégoire de Montmorency , Canada ; † January 3, 2005 ) was auxiliary bishop in Québec .

Life

Marc Leclerc received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Québec on May 31, 1958 .

On July 27, 1982 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To the titular of Eguga and auxiliary bishop in Quebec City. The Archbishop of Québec, Louis-Albert Vachon , donated him episcopal ordination on October 22 of the same year ; Co-consecrators were the auxiliary bishops in Québec, Lionel Audet and Jean-Paul Labrie .

Marc Leclerc was appointed a member of the Order of Canada in 1985. He resigned as auxiliary bishop in Québec on June 30, 1998.
