Marc Millecamps (born October 9, 1950 in Waregem ) is a former Belgian football player who briefly worked as a football coach after his career . He is the older brother of Luc Millecamps .

Player career

Millecamps played for a club called KSV Waregem throughout his career . During this time he won the Belgian Cup in 1974 and the Belgian Supercup in 1982. In 1988 he ended his active career.

International playing career

Millecamps took part in the 1980 European football championship in Italy and was runner-up with the team. At the Soccer World Cup in Spain in 1982 , he advanced with the Belgians to the second group stage, but was eliminated there as the bottom of the group.

Coaching career

In 1991 and 1992 Millecamps was the coach of the then second division team KRC Zuid-West-Vlaanderen , who rose to the top class only a few years later and stayed there for a period of six seasons. After relegation to the second highest division at the end of the 2000/01 season, the club immediately changed its name to KRC Zuid-West-Vlaanderen and, after just one, merged with KSV Ingelmunster to form the new club KSV Ingelmunster-Zuid-West , known today as the Name Sporting West Ingelmunster-Harelbeke .
