The Rensefelder Feldsteinkirche - The church of the Rensefelder parish

The Rensefelder parish was the parish of the Church of St. Fabian (Rensefeld) in the bishopric of Lübeck / Principality of Lübeck (in today's Ostholstein in Schleswig-Holstein ).

This parish comprised a very large area, which also included the episcopal possessions of the Lübeck bishopric / principality of Lübeck and the city of Lübeck - two independent territories.

The Rensefeld parish included the episcopal possessions of Rensefeld with Klein Mühlen , Schwartau , Groß Parin , Klein Parin , Cleve (or the later Cleverbrück ), Gut Kaltenhof (until its resignation), Stockelsdorf , Mori , Eckhorst , Groß Steinrade , Bargerbruck , Bohnrade , Horsdorf and Pohnsdorf as well as the Lübeck localities Vorwerk , Trems , Krempelsdorf and Schönböken .

Due to the strong population growth in the 19th century , further pastorates were initially established. Later the area of the Rensefelder parish was then divided into different communities.

In 1899 Stockelsdorf , Mori, Eckhorst , Groß Steinrade , Bargerbruck , Bohnrade were separated and merged into the newly formed parish of Stockelsdorf (today the parish of Stockelsdorf and parish of Stockelsdorf-Mori .) The parts of the parish located within the Lübeck Landgraben came to St. Matthäi (Lübeck) .

After 1945 in the area of the city of Bad Schwartau the Ev. Lutheran parish Bad Schwartau for the districts of Kaltenhof and Schwartau as well as the Ev. Lutheran parish of St. Martin Cleverbrück formed for Cleverbrück .

The parish of Rensefeld today includes Rensefeld , Kleinmühlen, Groß Parin , Klein Parin , Horsdorf and Pohnsdorf.
