Marcel Danguillaume

Marcel Danguillaume (born November 22, 1928 in Colleret , † October 4, 1989 in Tours ) was a French cyclist .

Athletic career

From 1950 to 1954 he was an independent and professional driver under contract with the French team La Perle-Hutchinson . His greatest success was winning the Tour de l`Eure-et-Cher (the forerunner of the Tour du Loir-et-Cher ) in 1956. In total, he was able to record 100 victories in his Palmares during his career. In 1954 he started the International Peace Race , but gave up the race after a fall. At the end of the 1956 season, he ended his career.

Familiar

Marcel Danguillaume is the brother of Camille Danguillaume , Andre Danguillaume , Roland Danguillaume and Jean Danguillaume , who were all cyclists. He is the uncle of Jean-Pierre Danguillaume , who won the International Peace Tour in 1969.
