Marcel Haščák (born February 3, 1987 in Poprad , Czechoslovakia ) is a Slovak ice hockey player who has been under contract with HC Kometa Brno in the Czech extra league since May 2016 .

Career

Marcel Haščák began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of the HK Poprad , for whose professional team he was active from 2005 to 2010 in the Extraliga , the highest Slovak division. For the 2010/11 season , the winger moved within the Extraliga to HC Košice , with whom he immediately won the Slovak championship title.

Between 2013 Haščák played in the KHL with Dinamo Riga and Amur Khabarovsk , before moving to HC Energie Karlovy Vary in the Czech extra league in 2015 . He has been under contract with HC Kometa Brno since May 2016 and won the Czech championship with them in 2017 and 2018 .

International

Haščák took part in the 2012 World Cup for Slovakia .
