Marcel Lička (born July 17, 1977 in Prague ) is a former Czech football player and today's coach .

Career

Lička began playing football at FC Grenoble and followed his father Verner Lička , who let his career end in France and Belgium, on the stations Berchem Sport , Calais RUFC and Olympique Grande-Synthe. In 1992 the Lička family returned to Czechoslovakia - Marcel's brother Mario was also there - and Marcel Lička joined the youth department of FC Baník Ostrava .

In the 1997/98 season, the talented midfielder made his debut in the Gambrinus League and quickly fought for a regular place. In early 2001, Lička moved to Slavia Prague . In the Czech capital, however, he was unable to assert himself and was loaned to Chmel Blšany in early 2002 . In the 2002/03 season Lička played on loan for Viktoria Žižkov . In the summer of 2003, the Czech moved to FK Zlín , but even there it only lasted one season.

For the 2004/05 season Lička went to Poland and from then on played for Górnik Zabrze . After only one season, another move followed, this time to Dyskobolia Grodzisk , where the Czech could not gain a foothold. This was followed by a two-year engagement with the Spanish third division club UD Horadada , before Lička returned to his former youth club Calais RUFC in 2008. In February 2010 Lička decided to return to the Czech Republic and signed with the first division club SK Kladno until the end of the season . From September 2010 he played four months for FK Kunice and then ended his career.
