Mąka, who started for TS Wisła Zakopane , took part in the ski jumping competitions of the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in Schonach in 2002 . Both with the team as fourteenth and in the individual as 62nd, he landed far behind in the lower ranks. It was similar for him at the beginning of February in Zakopane on his debut in the Ski Jumping Continental Cup , in which he clearly missed the points on two occasions. In the following years he therefore pursued a career as a Nordic combined athlete.
On February 6, 2005 Mąka made her debut in the B World Cup , but initially could not win any points. Nevertheless, he started in the Grand Prix in August 2006 and in the World Cup in February 2007 , where he found himself well behind the points. At the Hurricane Sprint in Vuokatti, Finland, in mid-December 2007, he won his first B World Cup points. In the further course of the season he managed to jump into the points more often, with his best result being tenth place in the Hurricane Sprint in Hakuba . Also in the Grand Prix 2007 Mąka was able to win points in an individual competition.
In the following years Mąka occasionally achieved a placement among the top thirty in the Continental Cup, but tried again and again unsuccessfully in the World Cup. Only together with Tomasz Pochwała , Paweł Słowiok and Adam Cieślar was he able to achieve a remarkable result in the team with eighth place in March 2010 in Schonach. He was significantly more successful at the national level, where he won the title four times at the Polish championships . He ended his career after the 2009/10 season.
