Marcin Nowak (athlete)

Marcin Nowak ( Marcin Andrzej Nowak ; born August 2, 1977 in Stalowa Wola ) is a Polish sprinter .

At the European Athletics Championships in Budapest in 1998 he was eighth in the 100 m and won bronze in the 4 x 100 meter relay . The following year he won silver over 100 m at the U23 European Championships in Gothenburg . At the World Athletics Championships in Seville in 1999 and at the Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000, he reached the quarter-finals over this distance and came in sixth and eighth place with the Polish 4 x 100 meter relay.

In 2002 he won silver with the Polish team at the European Championships in Munich in the 4 x 100 meter relay, and in 2003 he was fifth with her. At the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008 he was again part of the Polish 4 x 100 meter relay, but retired with her in the run-up.

In 2000 he became national master over 100 m, in 2003 indoor master over 60 m .
