Marcus Kück

Marcus Kück (born January 24, 1973 in Stade ) is a former German basketball player .

career

Kück was a German junior national player, in 1992 he took part in the European Championship in Hungary with the selection of the German Basketball Federation , in 1994 he was part of the German squad at the U22 European Championship.

At the club level, the 2.05 meter tall indoor player played in the basketball league and the European Cup for BG Ludwigsburg in the early 1990s . Until 1999 he was in the service of the second division club BG 74 Göttingen . In the 1999/2000 season, Kück rose from the second to the first Bundesliga with the Oldenburg TB , and then moved to the Schwelmer Baskets in the second Bundesliga.

He stayed in Schwelm until 2003, and in the 2003/04 season he joined the regional division FC Schalke 04 . After a stopover at BT Wuppertal (2nd regional league), Kück was again active in Schwelm (meanwhile regional league) from 2005.
