Marcus Tracy (born October 2, 1986 in Philadelphia ) is an American professional footballer who is under contract with the Danish first division club Aalborg BK .
Career
As a teenager, Tracy played for the Newtown High School in Newtown . After graduating, he moved to Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem ( North Carolina ). He played 77 times for the university team, scoring 30 goals and providing 23 assists. In his final college season, he was honored as best player with the Hermann Trophy , the highest honor in college football, and was elected to the NCAA First-Team All-American . In the MLS SuperDraft 2009 Tracy was selected only 56th by Houston Dynamo , as his move to Denmark had already been determined.
In early 2009, Tracy finally signed a contract with Aalborg BK from Denmark until 2011. He made his debut in the Danish professional league on March 23, 2009 against FC Midtjylland , where he headed the decisive 3-2 final score in the 67th minute of the game . Tracy was also used once in the UEFA Cup when he came on for Kasper Risgård on 19 March in the 77th minute against Manchester City .
