Marek Jan Koźmiński (born February 7, 1971 in Krakow ) is a former Polish football player .

Career

The 1.77 meter tall defender began his career at Hutnik Kraków . In 1992 he moved to Italy to Udinese in the Serie A . He played there until 1997 before moving to Brescia Calcio . Here Koźmiński completed five more seasons in Serie A before ending his Italian adventure at Ancona Calcio and moving to Greece for PAOK Thessaloniki at the end of 2002 .

At PAOK, however, Koźmiński could never really gain a foothold and moved back to the domestic league in 2003 to Górnik Zabrze . Here he ended his active football career in 2004 after two seasons.

Koźmiński took part in the 2002 World Cup in Japan and South Korea . He scored one goal in 45 international matches for the Polish national team .

After his active career, Koźmiński was briefly the owner of the traditional Polish club Górnik Zabrze .
