Marenglen Berisha

Marenglen "Len" Berisha (born January 3, 1984 in Pristina , SFR Yugoslavia ) is an Albanian - Kosovar economist , banker and dean of the Faculty of Economics at the American University of Bulgaria (AUBG).

Life

Marenglen Berisha completed a bachelor's degree in Business Administration at the AUBG in Blagoewgrad from September 2002 to May 2006 . Starting in September 2007, a master's degree followed on the New York campus of the Keller Graduate School of Management, which is part of the private DeVry University . He received his Master of Business Administration there in 2009. He then gained his first experience in the banking sector during his four years at ProCredit Bank Kosovo , where he was initially coordinator in the financial reporting office and finally headed the risk management department for two years until 2013 . In the meantime, he continued his education at Udruženje Banaka Kosova (UBK) and the ProCredit Holding training academy in Germany and Macedonia. From 2010 to 2013 he lectured in accounting at the American University in Kosovo (AUK) and gave English lessons there as part of the programs of the Staffordshire University at the Riinvest College (Kolegji Riinvest) in Pristina.

In October 2013 Berisha became Professor of Accounting and Finance at the AUBG Faculty of Economics. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of Banka Ekonomike since June 2016 . In July of the same year he became dean of the AUBG's business faculty.

He is writing his doctoral thesis at the Swiss Management Center (SMC).
