Marga Lindt

Marga Lindt , also Margot Lindt , born Margarethe Constanze Tinchen Sauer , (born November 1, 1888 in Coburg , † August 27, 1969 in Ober Maßfeld-Grimmenthal ) was a German actress .

Life

As part of a pantomime performance, the artist's daughter was already on stage at the age of three. She traveled through Europe with her parents and in 1912 was the first mime in various German and Russian circus companies.

She came to film in 1917 as a partner with Valy Arnheim , whom she later married. In films with Arnhem, especially around the private detective Harry Hill, she regularly took the female lead. After the end of the Harry Hill series, she retired into private life and later divorced Arnhem.
