Margarete Bruns (born September 24, 1873 as Margarete Sieckmann in Minden , Westphalia , † December 18, 1944 there ) was a German writer .

Life

Margarete Bruns married the publisher and writer Max Bruns in 1899 . The couple lived in Minden and worked together on the editing and translation of literary works.

Margarete Bruns was the author of stories , fairy tales and poems ; in addition, she was involved in the publication of classic editions and translated from French .
