Marggraffshof is a residential area in the Stahnsdorf community in the Potsdam-Mittelmark district in Brandenburg .

location

The living space is southeast of the community center. To the east is the Teltower district of Ruhlsdorf , south of the Stahnsdorf district of Sputendorf and to the west of the other district of Güterfelde . The Potsdam – Schönefeld expressway leads north past the residential area as Landstrasse 40 in a west-east direction and connects it with the federal highway 101 .

history

The residential area was first mentioned in a document in 1905 as a Vorwerk . At an earlier time there was a Lehnschulzengut Sputendorfs there. In 1911 an estate was built there, which was named as an honor to the Berlin city ​​council and head of the sewerage deputation, Arnold Marggraff . In 1925 174 people lived there. In 1945 it was a Rieselgut that had been handed over to agricultural workers by the Berlin municipal estates . In 1961 there was a VEG Sputendorf with 1248 hectares of agricultural land and 191 employees on the residential area . In 1973 the VEG was part of the VEG Genshagen with the Marggraffshof division.

In the 21st century there is a horse boarding house on the residential area.
