Margot Boer (born August 7, 1985 in Woubrugge ) is a Dutch speed skater who specializes in short distances .

Margot Boer made her debut in the World Cup in early December 2004. Her first and so far only World Cup victory was in Kolomna in 2009 over the 1000 meters. At the Junior European Championships in Innsbruck in 2006 , she won silver over 500 and bronze over 1000 meters.

She won the bronze medal over 1000 meters at the 2009 Individual Distance World Championships .

Boer competed in the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver , finishing fourth in the 500 and 1500 meters. She finished sixth over 1000 meters.

At the Sprint World Championships 2011 she reached third place in Heerenveen . At the individual distance World Championships in 2012 she won the bronze medal again over 1000 meters.
