Margret Weise (* 1941 in Naumburg (Saale) ) is a German ceramic artist .

Life

After graduating from high school, Weise worked as a pottery assistant in Bürgel in 1961 . From 1963 to 1965 she practiced the teaching profession for theoretical and practical vocational training in the pottery trade. In 1965 she passed the master's examination in pottery. In 1967, Weise had her own workshop in Bad Kösen and in 1978 she was accepted into the Association of Fine Arts. In 1981 she took part in the International Ceramic Symposium in Römhild in Thuringia.

Her works are shown through her own exhibitions as well as participation in exhibitions at home and abroad. Acquisitions were made, for example, from the Ceramic Museum in Berlin , the Grassi Museum in Leipzig and the Moritzburg State Gallery .

Weise lives and works in Naumburg.
