The Catholic branch church of the Assumption of Mary in Ergertshausen , a district of the Upper Bavarian municipality of Egling in the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district , was built in the second half of the 15th century. The church at Dorfstrasse 3 is a protected architectural monument .

The hall building from tuff has a recessed choir , which was increased by 1700s. The western tower of a gable roof covered. Restorations took place in 1979 and after 2000.

Furnishing

The four-bay nave has a reticulated vault with raised ribs, the one-bay choir with a 3/8 end has an unadorned barrel cap. In the high altar (around 1700) there is a crescent moon Madonna , flanked by figures of Saints Joachim and Anna (Mary's parents), all of whom are attributed to Anton Krinner and are dated around 1510. The excerpt shows a half-figure of God the Father that Georg Wunderl created in 1644. The side altars were created in 1644 (right, Hans Ostner) and 1700 (left), with figures by Krinner and Wunderl. The qualitative choir arch Rosary Madonna (around 1644) was also created by Georg Wunderl. The pulpit, with depictions of Salvator Mundi and the four evangelists at the basket, around 1700.
