Maria-Chapdelaine is a regional county municipality ( French municipalité régionale de comté, MRC ) in the Canadian province of Québec .

It is located in the administrative region Saguenay – Lac-Saint-Jean and consists of 14 subordinate administrative units (two cities, eight municipalities, one village, one district and two unincorporated areas). The MRC was founded on January 1, 1983. The main town is Dolbeau-Mistassini . The population is 24,971 and the area 35,533.9 km², which corresponds to a population density of 0.7 inhabitants per km².
