Maria Alice Emanuele Agnes Anna of Austria-Teschen (born January 15, 1893 in Pressburg / Pozsony in Austria-Hungary , † July 1, 1962 in Halbturn ) was an archduchess from the House of Habsburg-Lothringen .

Life

Maria Alice was the eighth daughter of Archduke Friedrich von Österreich-Teschen and his wife Isabella von Croÿ . After the First World War , at the age of 27, she married Friedrich Heinrich Waldbott von Bassenheim, who was three years older than Friedrich Heinrich Waldbott von Bassenheim, in Lucerne on May 8, 1920, and had six children with him:

Until the end of the Second World War in 1945, Maria Alice and her husband were large landowners in Hungary . After that, their property there was nationalized. Her son Paul inherited after the death of his uncle Albrecht 1955 in Burgenland location Halbturn . Her husband died on December 16, 1959.
