Maria Angélica Rangel da Cruz dos Reis (born March 22, 1973 in Dili , Portuguese Timor ) is a politician from East Timor . She is a member of FRETILIN and a member of the Party's Central Committee (CCF).

Career

Reis studied business administration at the Universidade Nasionál Timór Lorosa'e (UNTL). She has been a member of the East Timorese national parliament since 2012 . Reis became a member of the Commission for Public Finance (Commission C). In the parliamentary elections in East Timor in 2017 , Reis managed to return to FRETILIN's 14th list. Here she was now chair of the Commission for Public Finance (Commission C). Since the minority government of FRETILIN and PD could not prevail in parliament, President Francisco Guterres dissolved it and called for new elections. In the new election on May 12, 2018, Reis managed to re-enter parliament at number 6 on the FRETILIN list, where FRETILIN is now the strongest opposition party. Reis remains a member of the Public Finance Commission (C).
