Maria Charizze Ina Dela Cruz (born November 13, 1993 in Cagayan de Oro , Misamis Oriental ) is a Filipino soccer player.

Life

Dela Cruz and her family moved from their home in the Philippines to the small town of Roseville in California in the spring of 1997 . While growing up in Roseville, Dela Cruz attended Granite Bay High School in Granite Bay from 2006 to 2010 . In the fall of 2011, she enrolled at Idaho State University , where she is studying psychology . Dela Cruz has also had US citizenship since 2010 , in addition to Filipino.

Football career

Dela Cruz started her soccer career at the age of 9 in the women soccer team of Placer United. During her time at Granite Bay High School, she played for the Eagles' Women's Soccer Team until 2010 and for the Placers during the semester break. In autumn 2011 she started her studies at Idaho State University and has since been in the goal of the Uni Athletics Team, the Bengals Women Soccer Teams.

National team

On April 23, 2013, Dela Cruz was appointed to the Philippine national soccer team for the first time and made her debut in May 2013 against the Bangladeshi national soccer team . Dela Cruz played the AFC Women's Asian Cup in Bangladesh in May 2013 .

Basketball career

In her teens, she played high school, three years basketball for the Granite Bay Grizzlies, and until she was 19, she played team basketball for the Hotshots Youth Basketball Association.
