Maria Elisabeth Pembaur

Maria Elisabeth Pembaur (also Pembaur-Elterich , née Elterich ; born April 15, 1869 in Grimma , † January 30, 1937 in Munich ) was a German pianist .

Maria Elisabeth Elterich studied piano with Alfred Reisenauer , singing with Marie Hedmondt and music theory with Stephan Krehl at the Leipzig Conservatory . She lived as a pianist in Munich and toured the Netherlands, Switzerland, Denmark, Italy and Spain. In 1906 she married the pianist and composer Josef Pembaur , and the two of them also performed together on two pianos.
