Maria Magdalena of Oettingen-Baldern

Countess Maria Magdalena von Oettingen-Baldern (* 1619 ; † August 31, 1688 in Baden-Baden ) was the second wife of Margrave Wilhelm von Baden (1593–1677).

Maria Magdalena was a daughter of Count Ernst I von Öttingen zu Baldern (1584-1626) and his wife Countess Katharina von Helfenstein-Wiesensteig (1589-1638). She married Margrave Wilhelm von Baden-Baden in Vienna in 1650.

The following children resulted from the marriage:

Countess Maria Magdalena von Oettingen-Baldern was the educator of the future Margrave Ludwig Wilhelm von Baden after his mother did not want to move with her husband to the Baden court and the son of Margrave Wilhelm, Ferdinand Maximilian von Baden, his three-month-old offspring from Paris kidnapped by his mother.
