Mariabrunn is a part of the municipality Hallbergmoos in the Freising district in Bavaria.

history

In 1926, separate corridors were formed from parts of the Oberding , Niederding and Schwaig corridors, which were officially given the names Franzheim and Mariabrunn. Mariabrunn, which had 75 inhabitants at the time, was reorganized from Oberding to Hallbergmoos on April 1, 1934. The village stretched along the then connecting road between Hallbergmoos and Freising. During the construction of the Munich airport , a large part of the village was demolished, so that Mariabrunn now only consists of a handful of houses in the immediate vicinity of the southern runway.
