The Marian River is a river in the Canadian Northwest Territories .

The Marian River forms the drain of Zinto Lake . It initially flows in a predominantly south-southwest direction. It flows through Saddle Lake and flows into Mazenod Lake . It leaves this on its southeast bank and continues its course in a south-southeast direction. It flows through the lakes Bea Lake and Hislop Lake . It then takes the Emile River from the left and the Rivière la Martre , the outflow of the Lac la Martre to the west , from the right. Shortly before its confluence with the northern end of Marian Lake, the Marian River flows through the small lake Shoti Lake . The water of Marian Lake flows over the Frank Channel into the Great Slave Lake to the south . The Marian River is approximately 200 km in length.
