Marianne Huguenin (born May 1, 1950 in Bern ; resident in Le Locle ) is a Swiss politician ( PdA ).

Huguenin studied medicine and received his doctorate.

She began her political career in the local council from 1981 to 1996 in Renens , before she became mayor of the same municipality in June 1996 . She also had a seat on the Grand Council of the Canton of Vaud from April 1990 to October 1999 . She presided over the Vaudois POP from 1988 to 1995 . In the 2003 elections she was elected to the National Council . Although she was re-elected in the 2007 parliamentary elections , she renounced her seat and the dismissed Josef Zisyadis moved up for her.
