Marianne Schubart-Vibach (born Marianne Schubart , June 24, 1921 in Celle ) is a German actress , director and screenwriter .

Life

Marianne Schubart comes from a family of lawyers, her mother Herta Schubart was an art historian and anti-fascist. During the Nazi era , she lived with her mother in Spain, France and Great Britain. She returned from England to begin a stage career. She received her training at the Helmut Berger drama school in Berlin.

She had her first engagement in 1942 as " Muntere " at the Alten Theater in Leipzig, her first role there in the comedy "Der Blaue Strohhut" by Friedrich Michael . She took on roles at stages in Göttingen, Kassel, Bonn, Krefeld and Wiesbaden and went on a six-month tour to Brazil . At the Deutsches Schauspielhaus she worked under Gustaf Gründgens , where she met the director Karl Vibach (1928–1987), whom she later married. In 1967 she came to Lübeck via Schleswig and Stuttgart .

She played more than 100 roles at the Lübeck Theater , where her husband was general manager from 1968 to 1978. At the Bad Hersfeld Festival she was seen as "Golde" in Anatevka . She also played in a number of television series, including Notruf Hafenkante (as a result of Kai's decision ) and Großstadtrevier . She and her husband wrote the screenplay for the television play "Paradise on Earth" (1967), directed by Claus Peter Witt . She also directs productions on the Low German stage at the Lübeck Theater. She still takes stage roles and performs at readings.

The Lübeck Theater made Marianne Schubart-Vibach an honorary member and honored her on her 80th birthday with a matinee .

She is the oldest actress represented by the Cologne agency "60plus".
